April 5-8, Minneapolis
2019 NCAA Final Four
College hoops fans from around the globe will descend on Minneapolis to see this year’s top four teams face off to be crowned the 2019 NCAA men’s basketball champion. This will be the fourth time Minneapolis has hosted the iconic men’s basketball championship, but the first time at U.S. Bank Stadium. Visitors and locals alike will be treated to four days of basketball-themed fun that offers something for everyone. In addition, enjoy Fan Fest for youngsters at the Minneapolis Convention Center, free open house at U.S. Bank Stadium for team practices, All-Star Game on April 5, and the “Final Four Dribble” on April 7 where thousands of children will get a shirt and basketball then dribble down the streets to the Convention Center. Starch Madness: Baking a Cookie Champion
As Minneapolis hosts the 2019 NCAA Final Four basketball championship, join Mill City Museum for Starch Madness, a cookie competition to decide the ultimate cookie champion! In March, vote on Facebook to nominate your classic favorites and rookie cookie recipes that will make up the field of 16 Sweets. In the following weeks, cast your votes online to decide which cookies move on to the round of eight and the top four. A taste-off of those Fresh Four will take place in the museum’s Baking Lab on March 30 and 31. Then visit on Sunday, April 7 for the live, high stakes, bake-off between the top two cookies.
